Today we had the privilege of announcing the 2024 Women's Art Prize Tasmania open for entries. As Tasmania’s only women’s art competition, the Prize aims to inspire, facilitate, and celebrate the development of professional and emerging women artists in the state.
As a long-term supporter, we are proud to support the Prize as it finds new ways to empower, celebrate and showcase our talented women artists.
The 2024 prize includes the following categories:
- lutruwita Prize - presented by Rio Tinto Bell Bay Aluminium: $10,000
- Women’s Art Prize Tasmania - presented by RANT Arts: $10,000
- Early Career Artist Prize - presented by Tailored Services for the Arts: $5,000
- People’s Choice Award - presented jointly by Madeline Gordon Gallery and Project Gallery 90: $2,000
