> Tasmania's Rio Tinto-operated aluminium smelter at Bell Bay. The first in the southern hemisphere, producing aluminium from bauxite for global supply, employing around 548 people, spending $236M annually with Tasmanian suppliers, and maintaining active community, environmental, and cultural heritage programs in the George Town region.
