With a long and proud history of supporting the Tasmanian community, Bell Bay Aluminium provides valuable assistance in the form of Community Grants, a Community Assistance Program and a number of strategic community partnerships focused on education, health and well being and the environment.
At Bell Bay Aluminium, our focus is on the health and safety of our employees, the community in which we operate and on keeping our operations running safely, so we can continue to contribute to the Tasmanian economy and serve our customers. We continue to monitor the situation closely.
We have taken extensive measures to help protect our people and community in line with guidance or directives from the state and federal government and Public Health.
Bell Bay Aluminium has a number of measures in place to ensure our site remains COVID-19 safe. These measures include multiple layers of screening to enter the Bell Bay site to mitigate against the spread of COVID-19. Maintaining physical distancing, hand hygiene and staying home when feeling unwell remain just as important.
For general information about COVID-19 in Tasmania and travelling to Tasmania visit www.coronavirus.tas.gov.au
We encourage anyone with concerns or further questions to call the Tasmanian Public Health Hotline helpline on 1800 671 738.
Bell Bay Aluminium will continue to ensure we have the most up-to-date information and appropriate measures are in place.
The health and safety of our employees and other people working at or visiting our site is our highest priority. Improving our safety performance is a constant focus. We are committed to achieving our goal of zero work related illnesses and injuries. You can download our Health, Safety, Environment and Communities Policy here.
